In an all-Mozart program, the Dover Quartet pays tribute to a distinguished ensemble elemental to its conception.
In 1966, the blossoming Guarneri Quartet released its debut album, comprised of Mozart’s final two string quartets. Now, fifty years later, the Dover Quartet tips its hat to its musical idols, performing those two works plus a quintet featuring Guarneri Quartet violist Michael Tree.
